April was a strong month on-site, with several major milestones achieved. The basement footings were completed, providing a solid foundation for the structure above. Following this, the first half of the basement 2 slab was poured and the first half of the basement 2 precast panels were installed, starting to bring real shape to the lower levels of the building. In addition, formwork for the suspended slab on basement 1 commenced, setting the stage for the next phase of construction.    ![Bay Road-1](https://blog.norus.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/Sanctuary%20Sandringham/Construction%20Update%20Photos/SS%20April%202025/Bay%20Road-1.jpg?width=4027&height=3020&name=Bay%20Road-1.jpg)   Looking ahead, May promises to be another busy month as key structural works continue. We’re on track to complete the full basement 2 slab and the remaining basement 2 precast panels. The basement 1 slab will also be poured, and the basement 1 precast panels will be installed, continuing the upward momentum of the build. Excitingly, works will also commence on forming the ground floor slab, a major milestone as the project begins to rise above ground level.   ![Bay Road-7](https://blog.norus.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/Sanctuary%20Sandringham/Construction%20Update%20Photos/SS%20April%202025/Bay%20Road-7.jpg?width=4027&height=3020&name=Bay%20Road-7.jpg)   With construction advancing steadily, *Sanctuary Sandringham* is well on its way to becoming one of Bayside’s most sought-after new addresses. We look forward to bringing you more updates as we progress through the coming months. ### Register Your Interest In Norus Projects Apartments and Townhouses. Just enter your details below.
