Sanctuary Sandringham December Construction Update

As the year wraps up, Sanctuary Sandringham has shifted confidently into the finishing stages, where the building starts to feel more like a collection of completed homes. December has been all about removing temporary site infrastructure, progressing internal finishes and moving apartments into fitout.

A key milestone is the removal of the Alimak, which means the project no longer relies on the external hoist that supported earlier construction stages. Scaffold dismantling is also ongoing, so more of the façade is being revealed as works continue. Inside the building, the lift installation is now complete, which supports the next wave of trade activity as fitout progresses across levels.

Internally, momentum is strong. The blockwork to communal areas has commenced, whilst timber flooring has been completed and carpet installation has begun, helping spaces feel more defined. The waterproofing and the tiling are complete, plus painting works are continuing as teams move through the apartments. The joinery and stone are now complete for the apartments and the apartment fitout has commenced, including appliances, fittings and fixtures, lighting and more.

What’s next

Looking ahead, work will continue to build on this progress, with balustrades to be completed across the building. The townhouse interiors also move into focus, with joinery and marble installation scheduled, followed by timber flooring. The landscaping works will also commence, bringing the finishing touches to the outdoor areas and shared spaces.
