December has been a milestone month at Beach Point Sandringham as the project shifts firmly into its fitout phase. With major structural elements complete and apartments filling out with finishes, the development is moving steadily toward welcoming its first residents.
Street Presence Now Revealed
The removal of the Alimak construction hoist, along with the dismantling of the scaffold to the front, has opened up clear views of the façade. For purchasers, this is an exciting moment because you can now better appreciate the building’s proportions and presence along Beach Road. The exterior detailing is more visible and it is easier to imagine daily life in a completed home rather than a construction site.
Floors, Finishes and Fitout
Inside the building, the flooring is progressing. The timber flooring has been installed up to and including level 2, whilst carpet installation has commenced in selected areas. These layers instantly add warmth and character, so apartments begin to feel like real living spaces.
The waterproofing and the tiling are complete up to and including level 2, which supports the next stages of bathroom and kitchen fitout. The joinery is now complete and the marble benchtops have been installed in most kitchens. The remaining bathrooms and ensuites are following close behind. Next Steps on Site
Over the coming weeks, key completion activities will continue. The balcony balustrades will be finalised and the landscaping works will commence, which will soften the edges of the building and create welcoming outdoor spaces.
The lift installation is scheduled to reach completion in January at the same time, the penthouse's internal works will progress with a focus on premium finishes and its elevated coastal outlook.
